On June 27, musical actor Lim Gyu-hyung shocked fans by personally announcing his marriage on his official fan cafe — then held a private ceremony in Seoul on the 28th.
That day, Lim wrote, "I’m writing like this for the first time because there’s news I wanted to tell you myself."
Sharing his gratitude, Lim said, "We’ve built up so many memories together. Whether I was overjoyed on stage or struggling at times, I’ve always believed I could come this far thanks to your support and love." He added, "I wanted to tell you the biggest news of my life first," and announced his marriage. Lim explained, "There’s someone who has stayed by my side for a long time, and we’ve been a source of strength for each other. As we spent time together, it naturally grew in me that I wanted to keep looking in the same direction with this person — so we decided to spend our lives together."
He also asked surprised fans for their warm support. "I would be truly grateful if you could cheer on my new beginning with a warm heart. I’ll always treasure the love you send and become someone who repays that love," he promised.
Lim debuted in 2019. In 2023, through JTBC’s quartet audition show Phantom Singer 4, he formed the crossover group CREZL and expanded his activities.
On the 28th, Lim married his partner at a venue in Seoul.
