Actor Namgoong Min is making his return to KBS for the first time in seven years since Doctor Prisoner.

On the 1st, KBS2’s new Saturday-Sunday drama The Husband held its production presentation. Director Kim Jeong-hyeon, along with Namgoong Min, Lee Seol, Kim Dae-myung, and Lee Sang-hee, attended.

Sharing why he chose this project and how it feels to be back on a KBS drama, Namgoong Min said, "I’m grateful that my recent works have received so much love from viewers." He added, "From the moment I first read the script for The Husband, I knew it. We worked incredibly hard on set, and I’m brimming with confidence." He continued, "I read episodes 1–4 straight through without taking a single break because it was that compelling. I believe viewers won’t want to miss a moment, either. I decided to join because it’s a story that people of various age groups can connect with and enjoy together."

The Husband is a high-stakes crime thriller about a man who goes to extremes against a monstrous criminal to rescue his wife, who is abducted right before their divorce is finalized. The series premieres on the 4th at 9:20 p.m. It will also be available on Wavve and Disney+.
