TWICE member Jihyo is joining forces with Grammy-nominated dancehall star Shenseea for a global collaboration single.

Musicow US announced on the 1st, via its 'Fandom Project', that Jihyo and Shenseea’s collaboration track 'Distant Lover' will drop on July 10.

Shenseea is a leading artist in 'dancehall', a genre that developed in Jamaica in the late 1970s. She has over 100 million global listeners and has been nominated for the Grammy Awards twice. Having collaborated with global stars like Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, and Sean Paul, she is making her first-ever collaboration with a K-pop artist through 'Distant Lover'.

The new song is an Afrobeats track tailor-made for summer and is the latest result of Musicow US’s 'Fandom Project', which aims to expand collaborations between Korean and U.S. artists.

Previously in May, Musicow released worldwide the collaboration single 'Something Special' between actor Ahn Hyo-seop—who voiced Jinwoo in the Netflix animated feature KPop Demon Hunters—and global R&B artist Khalid.
