Shocking update: Longshot member Woojin has undergone shoulder surgery after suffering joint and ligament tears, and his activities will be limited for now.
On July 1, Woojin shared an update on Longshot’s Instagram, opening with, "Hello, this is Woojin."
He explained, "My right shoulder has been dislocating often for a long time, and recently, while promoting, the discomfort got worse, so I went to the hospital for tests. I was told that my joint and ligament were torn, so I had surgery right away."
He added, "Fortunately, I can go about daily life, but for the time being I have to avoid any excessive movements and focus on recovery with plenty of rest. I’ll still try to join activities as much as I can while prioritizing recovery. Please don’t worry too much. I love you."
On the fan communication platform Bubble, he also wrote, "I tried my best to avoid surgery, but I had to get it. Because of habitual dislocations, the bones were colliding and my labrum was torn. A ligament was also torn. They said my arms and shoulders are very flexible compared to others, so I didn’t even realize it. It had already gotten pretty bad."
Meanwhile, Longshot—the four-member group produced by Jay Park—debuted in January with their first EP, 'SHOT CALLERS'.
