Shocking crossover: rookie K-pop group LNGSHOT is set to storm a major sports stage.
According to agency More Vision, LNGSHOT will appear as the live performance headliner at the 'NBA Rising Stars Invitational' taking place June 28 at OCBC Arena in Kallang, Singapore.
The tournament is a league-hosted knockout event featuring boys and girls high school basketball teams from across Asia and the Pacific.
Beyond the live set, LNGSHOT plans to join interactive programs with participants, getting even closer to local fans.
Ed Winkle, NBA Asia Senior Vice President of Growth & Innovation, said, "Welcoming LNGSHOT to the 'NBA Rising Stars Invitational' shows the deepening bond between the NBA and K-pop. Both worlds bring energy and authenticity, inspiring across cultures, and we will deliver an unforgettable experience for players and fans at this month’s event in Singapore."
Meanwhile, LNGSHOT debuted in January with their first EP 'Shot Callers' and surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify just 38 days later.
