ILLIT member Moka has suspended all activities effective immediately.
On June 19, agency Belift Lab informed fans via the Weverse platform about Moka’s health status and schedule.
The agency stated, “Since preparations for the fourth mini-album comeback, Moka has been undergoing treatment and recovery in parallel due to excessive tension and anxiety symptoms,” adding, “After careful discussions with the artist and the members, we determined she needs a more stable period of rest for full recovery.”
They continued, “As a result, Moka will halt all activities for the time being to focus on her health,” and added, “ILLIT will continue promotions as a four-member lineup for now.”
The agency emphasized, “We will spare no effort to provide the support necessary for her stability and recovery so Moka can return to fans in good health. We ask for your understanding and warm encouragement,” noting, “We will provide a separate update on the timing of her return to activities.”
Fans reacted to the news with messages like “Please recover well” and “Hope you don’t get sick.”
Meanwhile, Moka had already paused activities ahead of the group’s April comeback due to health concerns. She returned to fans on May 29, but with this new suspension, worries are growing once again.
