Actor Choo Young-woo attended the Baeksang Arts Awards as a presenter despite an eye injury.

On May 8, he took the stage at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, presenting the Best New Actor (TV) and the Young Theater Artist awards at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards.

That day, he went on stage with one eye covered, worrying fans. Addressing the concern, his agency J,WIDE Company told multiple outlets, "He sustained a minor bruise around the eye while working out, but there are no serious health issues," adding, "His schedule will proceed within reason."

Meanwhile, Choo Young-woo previously won Best New Actor at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards for the JTBC weekend drama The Tale of Lady Ok. He is set to appear in the new Netflix original Long Vacation and the ENA drama Yeonae Baksa.
