Shocking backlash erupted after ENA teased its 2026 drama lineup — with viewers slamming the heavy yellow tint in the first look at Choo Young-woo and Kim So-hyun's new pairing in 'Love Doctor'.
On the 27th, ENA dropped a video revealing its slate of dramas for 2026.
The reel highlights major scenes from titles including Doctor on the Edge (premiering June 1), Dream to You, and Shinbyeong 4. But the clip drawing the most buzz is the new Monday–Tuesday series Love Doctor starring Choo Young-woo and Kim So-hyun.
Love Doctor follows Min-jae (played by Choo Young-woo), a former high school swimming ace who lost a leg due to illness and is now a PhD candidate, and Yoo-jin (played by Kim So-hyun), a master's student who found a new path after losing her direction. Set in a robotics lab, the series promises a spicy, bittersweet romance between two twenty-somethings finding their way.
Once the video dropped, netizens criticized the overall yellowish tone blanketing the footage, saying things like "It looks like smog blowing in from China," "The yellow-dust filter is way too much," and "Please don't tell me the entire broadcast will look like that."
Meanwhile, Love Doctor is slated to premiere in the second half of this year.
