A K-drama has exploded online as viewers crown its newest kiss scene a fresh all-time legend.
In episode 6 of the SBS Friday–Saturday drama Brave New World, which aired on the 23rd, the kiss between Cha Segye (played by Heo Nam-jun) and Shin Seori (Lim Ji-yeon) stole the spotlight.
While strolling along the night sea, Cha Segye confessed his feelings again. He warned her, "I’m about to do something now. If you’re going to run, this is your only chance." After counting to three and moving in, Shin Seori sprang to her feet. As Cha Segye turned to leave, she caught his arm—so he gently kissed her wrist first so she wouldn’t be startled, then leaned in for a deep kiss, sending viewers into a thrilling frenzy.
Right after the broadcast, reactions poured in: "This could go down as one of the greatest scenes in K-drama history," "Where on earth did he learn to kiss a wrist like that?", "Starting with a hand kiss is insanely romantic," "This is what true adult sexy looks like," and "I thought my heart was going to burst."
