Actors Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun are back with harder-hitting action and a vastly expanded universe.
On the 26th, Disney+ dropped the re-opening poster and trailer for its original series A Shop for Killers Season 2 (hereafter 'A Shop for Killers 2').
The newly revealed poster and trailer hint at a broader, more ambitious world, stoking hype among would-be viewers. Inside the wide-open warehouse, walls are packed with weapons, signaling the overwhelming scale of the newly revamped 'Murder Help'. The tagline "The shop reopens" sets the stage for a fresh wave of incidents, dialing up the tension. The image of Jin-man (played by Lee Dong-wook) and Ji-an (played by Kim Hye-jun) standing side by side teases their full-on teamwork.
The trailer grabs attention with amped-up action and the arrival of new enemies. Jin-man’s weighty line, "This is my world, Jeong Ji-an," foreshadows Ji-an’s growth as she fully steps into the killers’ domain, pulling viewers deeper in. On top of that, the unbreakable, ill-fated rivalry between Jin-man and Bale (played by Jo Han-sun), plus the menacing entry of mercenaries from Babylon’s East Asia branch, is set to push the tension to a fever pitch. If Season 1 was a desperate fight to survive, Season 2 centers on a ferocious counterattack to protect their world.
Director Lee Kwon, who successfully helmed Season 1, returns to lead once again. Lee Dong-wook, Kim Hye-jun, and Jo Han-sun reunite with mainstays Geum Hae-na, Kim Min, and Lee Tae-young, keeping their seamless chemistry intact. Newcomers Jung Yoon-ha, Hyunri, and Masaki Okada join the cast, adding even more depth.
After a brutal handover, Ji-an rises as the shop’s new head, while Jin-man makes a miraculous return. Together, they mount a thrilling counterstrike against the global powerhouse 'Babylon'. 'A Shop for Killers 2' premieres worldwide on Disney+ this July.
