On July 15, the KBS2 Sat-Sun miniseries The Husband unveiled past family photos capturing the pair’s once-perfectly happy family.
The photos spotlight a birthday party for their on-screen daughter, revealing that Namgoong Min and Lee Seol were, at one time, the happiest family of all. In the drama, Kang Tae-ju (played by Namgoong Min) and Go Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol) lovingly decorated the party with balloons, flowers, and a cake, then planted simultaneous kisses on their daughter’s cheeks. Kang Tae-ju, seen saving every precious moment on his phone, radiates a heartbreaking tenderness for his child.
Meanwhile, episode 4 of The Husband, aired on July 12, soared to a per-minute peak of 8.5% and a nationwide rating of 7.2% (Nielsen Korea), once again setting a new personal best and marking one of the fastest rating climbs and strongest box-office momentum among KBS weekend miniseries.
