A surprise update on former NewJeans member Danielle has emerged.
Recently, a netizen posted on Instagram, saying, "My dad asked if this is the NewJeans you like, and said, 'This is our NewJeans Danielle,'" and shared a photo.
In the photo, Danielle wears a sky-blue cap and holds a microphone while speaking from a church pulpit. Her bright smile immediately draws attention.
Danielle is currently in a damages lawsuit with ADOR worth about 43.1 billion KRW (approximately USD 31 million). ADOR filed the suit last December against Danielle, her family, and former CEO Min Hee-jin, and terminated her exclusive contract. ADOR claims Danielle and her family triggered the dispute, while Danielle’s side argues ADOR unfairly targeted her among NewJeans members, wrongfully terminated her contract, and brought the lawsuit in retaliation.
Haerin, Hanni, and Hyein have returned to ADOR without Danielle, while Minji is reportedly in positive talks.
