On Coupang Play’s variety show SNL Korea Season 8, singer-actor Krystal made a blazing entrance alongside her sister Jessica, leaving a powerful impression.

In her recently released SNL Korea Season 8 episode, Krystal initially showed a nervous side that contrasted with her famously cool image, admitting, "I’m shaking because it’s my first time on a stage like this." But once the skits kicked off, the mood flipped fast. Even in the anything-can-happen live setting, she steered the stage with steady acting and sharp ad-libs, proving her comedy chops.

In particular, the My Child’s Social Life segment struck a chord as she realistically portrayed an ultra-introverted office worker who misses her bus stop yet can’t speak up. Then her real-life older sister Jessica made a surprise appearance, their sisterly chemistry turning the studio red-hot.

Another segment, Prison Playbook Girlfriend, parodied a well-known title as she synced up seamlessly with cast members Ahn Young-mi, Lee Su-ji, and Ji Ye-eun, showing flexible, on-the-spot acting. She even pulled off a risqué situational skit with Kim Won-hoon, completing a bold transformation.

Wrapping the show, Krystal shared, "It was so hectic I barely remember how it flew by, but it was really fun. It was a great experience, and I hope it becomes a special memory for viewers too."

Krystal, who debuted in 2009 with the group f(x), also works actively as an actor. This year, she appeared in the drama Mad Concrete Dreams and the film Crayon Shin-chan. Jessica, who debuted with Girls’ Generation in 2007, left the team in 2014 and has since gone solo, focusing more on overseas activities such as in China.
