TWICE’s Jihyo opened up about her heavy heart and made it clear she intends to make her own life decisions.
On the 28th, through the fan communication platform Bubble, Jihyo posted a lengthy message to ONCE.
“I still find it really hard to just chat casually because my heart feels so heavy,” she confessed, adding that she had a lot on her mind and felt cautious even before reaching out to fans.
She continued, “Before communicating, I was so worried and careful. I’ll handle things well, get everything in order, and share updates quickly so ONCE won’t be left waiting too long.”
Addressing concerns about her future plans, she added, “As the one in charge of my own life, I’ll think it through carefully and wisely and make my choice, so I hope ONCE, like always, will support me and trust me.”
Jihyo debuted with TWICE in 2015 and has been connected with JYP Entertainment for around 20 years. Reports have claimed she may not renew her contract and is preparing to launch a one-person agency, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
