BTS member V publicly asked fans to respect his privacy and stop coming to his hotel while on tour, spotlighting growing concern over K-pop privacy invasions.

On July 1, V posted on the official fan community Weverse, saying, "We’re truly grateful for the warm welcomes, but if possible, please refrain from coming all the way to the front of our hotel."

He added, "I don’t want to share where I’m staying, and it also affects my performance condition, so I’m asking for your understanding."

V continued, "While touring, having time to enjoy a country comfortably—trying local restaurants and taking walks—is very precious to me. Going forward, I hope no one comes to the front of the hotel. I ask for your consideration."

Along with his message, V also shared a photo showing a short sleep time of about 2 hours and 27 minutes.

Meanwhile, fellow HYBE group CORTIS has also suffered privacy violations. On June 29, BigHit Music warned of strict legal action after some fans reportedly attached tracking devices to the artists’ vehicle and loitered inside the hotel where members were staying during the group’s Paris schedule.
