Actors Woo Do-hwan and Chae Soo-bin are reportedly teaming up in the same project.
According to a July 2 report by JTBC Entertainment News, Woo Do-hwan and Chae Soo-bin will star in SBS’s new drama Flower of Allure, which is said to be slated for the first half of next year.
The drama follows a man who cannot understand the emotion called love and a woman who dismisses love as a mere illusion, and the story that unfolds between them.
Reportedly, Woo Do-hwan will play Kwon Chae-woo, the second son of the Hydrangea Group—blessed with striking looks and a brilliant mind, but a psychopath. Chae Soo-bin is set to transform into tree doctor So I-yeon, a specialist who genuinely loves trees, previewing a dramatic shift in feelings between her and Woo Do-hwan’s character.
After the news broke, online reactions poured in: "Their visuals are a perfect match," "It’s based on a web novel—one of my all-time favorites," and "They already look great together," among others.
Meanwhile, if both actors finalize their casting, fans are eager to see what kind of romance synergy they’ll create. Flower of Allure is currently eyeing an SBS broadcast slot in May 2027.
