Park Ji-hoon’s fan concert venue has been abruptly changed just weeks before the show.

On July 7, agency YY Entertainment announced on its official website that “the show originally set for August 8 in Manila, Philippines, has been changed to Macau due to unavoidable circumstances.”

The company added, “We sincerely apologize to fans who were waiting for the Manila show and ask for your kind understanding,” promising, “We will do our best to ensure the artist can deliver a great performance.”

Park Ji-hoon has been meeting fans through his Asia fan-con tour ‘RE:FLECT,’ which kicked off in Tokyo, Japan, in May. He was initially slated to greet fans in Manila on August 8, but the location has now been moved to The Grand Hall, Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, on the same date.

As the news broke, fans voiced frustration online: “It’s not just a city change but a whole different country,” “What about all the flight cancellation fees,” and “What are fans who already prepared supposed to do?”
