From intimate black boxes to grand venues, actor Kim Ri-hyun—now widely seen as a nonstop “hardworking icon”—has unveiled new profile shots that are drawing a heated response from fans.

On the 8th, the musical Blue Flower dropped concept posters for the cast ahead of the preview ticket release. The newly revealed posters compellingly capture each character’s essence, sending anticipation among prospective audiences soaring.

As soon as Kim Ri-hyun’s poster for the role of Heinrich went live, fans erupted with excitement. Previously, the profile for the play Ilho Tunnel released on the 6th was in black and white, leaving some disappointed, and the character poster revealed on May 6 also felt somewhat one-sided in composition, sparking similar reactions.

In contrast, fans reacting to the new Blue Flower concept poster are raving: “This is the most stunning profile I’ve seen yet,” “Finally, a color photo—I love it,” and “She looks like an adorable puppy; I can’t take my eyes off her,” among many more enthusiastic comments.

Meanwhile, keeping up her breakneck stage schedule, Kim Ri-hyun is currently appearing in the jukebox musical The Pied Piper of Hamelin, built around singer Song Chang-sik’s classic hits. In addition, the play Ilho Tunnel—with actor Kang Ki-doong on board as producer—is set to open on the 24th, while Blue Flower, already grabbing attention for its “next-level visuals,” will run from August 13 to October 25 at the Chungmu Art Center Middle Theater Black.
