On the 8th, SM Entertainment teased the launch of Red Velvet’s revamped official light stick via its official social media accounts.
The accompanying photos show a light stick glowing a vivid red, perfectly matching the group’s name.
Fans reacted with excitement, saying, "Goodbye kimchi dumpling, hello cupcake," "The color looks so premium," and "Brightness is what really matters." The previous version had been nicknamed "Kimman-bong" (short for "kimchi mandu bong," meaning "kimchi dumpling stick") because its shape reminded fans of a kimchi dumpling.
Meanwhile, Red Velvet will make a full-group comeback with their new mini album 'Velvet Summer,' dropping on August 3 at 6 p.m. via major music platforms.
