Red Velvet's Seulgi, still reeling after recently losing her cousin, shared a status update with fans.
On the 21st, through the fan communication platform Bubble, Seulgi told fans, "You were really worried, right? I'm eating well, sleeping well, and preparing the album — I've been doing okay."
She added, "I felt I shouldn't wait too long, and I came to show you I'm doing fine so your worries won't grow. Your messages of comfort helped a lot, and thanks to the thoughtfulness of the members, my family, and the company, I'm doing well, so please don't worry anymore."
Earlier, Seulgi's cousin and content creator Sookijin passed away on the 7th after a sudden accident. Seulgi had traveled to Japan with the late Sookijin and once expressed her affection, saying, "I wanted to be your real sister." In the aftermath, Seulgi decided to pause uploads on her personal channel until the 26th, which left many fans concerned.
