A highly anticipated K-drama starring Jung Hae-in and Shin Se-kyung is reportedly changing its broadcast home.
According to MyDaily on the 9th, the new drama Love Virus was initially expected to air on JTBC, but its final scheduling fell through in the wake of JoongAng Group’s default crisis. As a result, the production team is now in discussions on multiple fronts with other networks, including SBS and tvN.
Love Virus follows a high-earning elite couple with celebrity-level visuals who have been dating for nine years. On the brink of marriage, they agree to give each other a so-called “cheating prevention shot” — suggesting a pre-wedding break to meet other people — sparking a bold, provocative exploration of where their hearts truly lie.
Earlier reports confirmed Jung Hae-in and Shin Se-kyung in the lead, with Kim Dong-hwi and Jo Yu-ri joining the cast, building buzz for a fresh on-screen synergy.
Meanwhile, while the broadcast plans are being reorganized, Love Virus is set to officially begin its first shoot next month.
