From the very first broadcast, In Youp Hwang and Hyeri Lee sent viewers into a frenzy of "secondhand flutter," thanks to their heart-fluttering chemistry.
In Episode 1 of ENA’s new Monday–Tuesday drama Dream to You, which aired on the 13th, genius film director Woo Su-bin (played by In Youp Hwang), who returned after achieving his dream, reunites after 15 years with no-nonsense livelihood reporter Joo I-jae (played by Hyeri Lee), who has been living as if she forgot her own dreams. Back in their school days, Joo I-jae was his first love—the person who first planted the dream of becoming a film director in the wandering, listless Woo Su-bin.
Woo Su-bin couldn’t hide his joy at meeting his first love—who once gifted him a dream—again. But the worn-down Joo I-jae felt uncomfortable about their reunion. Trying to keep her distance, she lies in response to his questions, saying she’s married with a child. Unfazed, Woo Su-bin cuts straight to the chase: "So you don’t. Do you have time?"—charging ahead with a bold, straightforward romance.
Yet unresolved wounds from the past still linger between them. Joo I-jae says, "Woo Su-bin, you’re my regret. Go back to that day yourself and see how I felt," bringing up the moment that once scarred him. Racked with guilt, Woo Su-bin hands her the script they were writing together, titled 'Gyeongseong Love Song,' and proposes, "I want to make this into a movie. Let’s do it together."
