A powerhouse cast led by Ji Sung, Ha Yoon-kyung, Moon So-ri, and Park Byung-eun is finally pulling back the curtain on their new drama.

On the 10th, JTBC’s new Saturday–Sunday drama Apartment held its online press conference.

Ji Sung expressed excitement about the team play with a “fake family,” saying he wanted to deliver the warmth and lively vibe of the apartment setting. He shared, "While filming on set, I wanted to convey this place’s warmth by interacting with the residents of the apartment." Park Byung-eun, who plays a new kind of villain, explained the character’s draw: "Lee Choong-won is a complex figure with six different personas."

Taking on her first-ever lead role, Ha Yoon-kyung said, "My whole family was in a frenzy—I was thrilled to work with Ji Sung." She added, "Ji Sung sunbaenim created an atmosphere where I could freely share ideas, which helped me shake off the pressure and truly enjoy acting." Moon So-ri couldn’t hide her joy at working with close colleagues and also thanked the residents near the filming location.

Meanwhile, Apartment follows former Oasis faction boss Park Hae-gang (played by Ji Sung), who runs for the residents’ council chair to seize hidden cash—and takes on corruption alongside the residents. The series premieres on the 11th at 10:40 p.m. on JTBC, and will also be available on Netflix and TVING.
