Actor Lee Seong-shin set the internet ablaze with his model-tier physique and flawless visual chemistry with co-star Cheon Woo-jin.
Premiered on June 11 via the short-form drama platform Lezhin Snack, the drama Checkmate features Lee Seong-shin in the role of Jung Eun-seong.
Checkmate follows reporter Su-hyeon (played by Cheon Woo-jin), who has spent his life consumed by jealousy toward the picture-perfect No. 1, Eun-seong (Lee Seong-shin). After Su-hyeon accidentally witnesses Eun-seong’s fall from grace, his buried inferiority complex and obsession resurface, pushing him to get close and watch an even bigger downfall up close.
