28-year-old Ok-soon, currently appearing on the dating variety show 'I Am Solo,' has completely denied allegations of school violence from her school days and has announced plans for legal action.
On the 10th, Ok-soon's legal representative, Roel Law Firm, issued an official statement, clarifying that "all allegations regarding school violence, bullying rumors, and enforced transfer that are being spread and reproduced through online communities are completely false."
The legal representative explained, "Ok-soon never engaged in school violence or faced any disciplinary action for it during her school years. The transfer mentioned in some posts was not due to enforced rearrangement related to school violence but rather a routine transfer process due to a change of residence." They further stated, "Ok-soon was a diligent student who studied until past midnight every day since middle school. Even after entering an elite high school, she followed school rules by attending class by 7 AM and studying until 11 PM, ultimately gaining admission to university through standard admission processes."
Additionally, they reported that the author of the controversial post commented, "It's chaotic in the group chat," while acquaintances who shared school days with Ok-soon expressed disbelief, stating that "that group chat room does not even exist."
At the end, the legal representative mentioned, "We have already gathered sufficient evidence regarding the distribution of false facts, including the initial post," and indicated plans to initiate criminal proceedings against the original author through an appointed legal representative. They also warned, "We will take all possible civil and criminal legal actions against any unlawful activities that post, transmit, or spread unverified falsehoods and rumors online, as well as against those malicious posts and comments that expand and reproduce them."
Recently, claims surfaced online that Ok-soon led school violence as a middle school student, along with rumors of enforced transfer, creating controversy; however, the post has since been deleted.
Meanwhile, Ok-soon from season 28 is currently featured in the single special episode of 'I Am Solo.'
