Taeyang of BIGBANG is set for a long-awaited comeback next month with his fourth full-length album.

On the 20th, his agency THEBLACKLABEL revealed the cover image for Taeyang's fourth studio album 'QUINTESSENCE' via its official social media accounts.

This marks his first comeback in about three years since the April 2023 release of his second EP 'Down to Earth,' and his first full-length album in roughly nine years since 'WHITE NIGHT' in August 2017. The new title 'Quintessence' means 'essence' or 'the core,' and a lengthy message previously dropped as teaser content has already drawn attention.

The cover image features two angelic figures forming the first letter 'Q' of 'QUINTESSENCE,' instantly catching the eye.

Taeyang's fourth studio album 'Quintessence' is scheduled for official release on May 18 at 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, celebrating his 20th debut anniversary this year, Taeyang took the stage with G-Dragon and Daesung as headliners at the Coachella festival in the United States on the 12th and 19th (local time). With this solo album, he is signaling an active slate of 20th-anniversary promotions, further raising expectations.
