Shocking clarification: Former Rainbow member Go Woori directly addressed the backlash over whether her husband accompanies her to the OB-GYN, revealing it was a misunderstanding and a slip of the tongue.
On the 23rd, a new video featuring former Rainbow members Jung Yoon-hye and Noeul was uploaded to Go Woori’s YouTube channel. In the clip, Jung Yoon-hye and Noeul teased her, saying, "We felt so bad for your husband after watching your video. We thought we should call him separately." Go Woori defended him, replying, "He’s not that kind of person."
Previously, while sharing her pregnancy news, Go Woori said she mostly visited the OB-GYN alone. At the time, she explained, "My husband isn’t the type to go to places like that. He’s more like, 'Why would I?'" and added, "If I forced him to go, I thought it would only stress him out." She also said she had grown used to going alone since the period when they were preparing for IVF treatment.
However, in the latest video, Go Woori emphasized, "Now we go to the OB-GYN together." She shared that around weeks 5–6 of early pregnancy, they visited the hospital together and her husband was thrilled seeing the ultrasound. "I think it’s best to go together for important moments," she added.
Jung Yoon-hye offered a realistic take: "It doesn’t mean couples must go together every single time. In reality, it can be hard to take time off work. But being there for key tests or special moments can really lessen hurt feelings."
Reflecting on her earlier remarks, Go Woori admitted, "I exaggerated to be funny. It was totally my mistake," adding, "I also apologized to my husband."
She concluded with an update: "Our dating period was short, so we clashed a lot after getting married, but since I got pregnant, my husband has been even more supportive."
Go Woori married a non-celebrity businessman five years her senior in 2022. After undergoing IVF, she announced her pregnancy. She is due in October.
