Actor Park Soo-oh is reportedly set to make another splash on the small screen as Kim Hee-ae’s youngest son, sparking casting buzz.
According to Xports News on the 23rd, Park Soo-oh will join JTBC’s new drama Gold Digger.
Gold Digger is a mystery romance about a young man with fatal charm who approaches a successful middle-aged woman, and the tense push-and-pull as they question whether his intentions are true love or an elaborate con. Kim Hee-ae and Roh Sang-hyun have already been cast as the leads, hinting at a daring melodramatic pairing.
Reportedly, Park Soo-oh will play the youngest son and third child of publishing CEO Min Young-joo (played by Kim Hee-ae), injecting fresh energy into the story. With Kim Ji-eun as the eldest daughter and Cha Hak-yeon as the second son, Park Soo-oh’s addition rounds out a rock-solid three-sibling lineup expected to anchor the drama’s core narrative.
Notably, Park Soo-oh proved his in-demand status last year by appearing in five consecutive projects: Won-gyeong, The Witch, First Love, Maeng-gamdok-ui Akpeulleo, and Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin.
