Records of the Suseong Palace Affair is a romance fusion sageuk set before Hangul was officially promulgated. Court lady Un-yeong secretly learns the vernacular script, and Crown Prince Hyang—captivated by her writing—exchanges feelings with her in a language the world has never seen. The series especially stands out for spotlighting Crown Prince Hyang (later King Munjong), Sejong the Great’s eldest son, a figure rarely centered in mainstream media.
Kim Moo-jun is slated to play Prince Anpyeong, Sejong’s third son and Munjong’s younger brother—renowned for his refined artistry in calligraphy, poetry, and painting. Viewers are eager to see how Kim will bring this multi-talented character to life.
