Dok2 is once again under scrutiny over an unresolved jewelry debt—just as his rumored relationship with Lee Hi draws fresh attention.
On April 3, Munhwa Ilbo reported that legal representatives for the overseas jeweler stated Dok2 had only made one payment despite a court-mediated agreement requiring three installments. The remaining balance, they said, is still unpaid.
The dispute dates back to 2018, when Dok2 purchased jewelry worth $206,000 and allegedly left $34,740 outstanding. After legal proceedings, the court ruled in 2022 that he must repay the amount along with delay damages by January 2023.
The issue has resurfaced at a time when his personal life is also in the spotlight. Recent social media posts from both Dok2 and Lee Hi—featuring phrases like “my man” and “my woman”—have fueled speculation about their relationship, which neither has formally confirmed.
As both developments unfold simultaneously, public attention has intensified around the rapper’s next steps.
