Actors Cha Seung-won and Kim Do-hoon are set to work together in a new action-comedy drama centered on an unlikely partnership.
On April 14, tvN announced that the new drama 'Euntae Yowon + Gwalli Team' will premiere in the second half of the year.
The series follows Kim Chul-soo (Cha Seung-won), a former National Intelligence Service black agent who now runs a local car wash, and Go Yo-han (Kim Do-hoon), an “ace” agent who has been demoted to the retired-agents management team.
Kim Chul-soo has left his active-duty years behind and is living a quieter life, though he still longs to return to the field. Meanwhile, Go Yo-han, despite his strong credentials, is determined to make his way back to active duty after his reassignment.
Director Jin Chang-gyu, known for works such as 'Military Prosecutor Doberman', 'Chip In', and 'Bad Papa', will lead the project.
The production team shared, “The bickering chemistry and rough teamwork between a retired NIS agent and a rookie agent will be a major draw,” adding that viewers can expect a mix of action, comedy, and character-driven moments.
The series is scheduled to air in the latter half of 2026.
