Authorities are continuing their investigation into a man in his 30s, identified as A, who has been accused of sexual misconduct involving a female streamer.
According to reports, the incident began after A secured a meeting with the streamer through a paid fan interaction. The two met at a restaurant in Seoul’s Gangnam District, after which A allegedly brought her to his residence and attempted unwanted physical contact.
Police responded to a report and arrested A at the scene on suspicion of violating laws related to sexual offenses. An arrest warrant was later requested, but prosecutors declined to pursue it, citing insufficient evidence.
The case has since drawn attention due to additional allegations. A woman identified as C, believed to be A’s spouse, publicly claimed that she had experienced repeated domestic abuse, including threats, physical violence, and coercion. She also alleged that surveillance devices had been installed in their home.
Further controversy arose after reports related to the case were reportedly removed from online portals, leading to speculation about possible external pressure. Some users archived and shared information through alternative platforms, increasing the spread of the issue.
Authorities are also reviewing claims involving the distribution of private images and potential involvement of additional individuals.
The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to verify the details of each allegation.
