A former manager has raised allegations about unethical practices within the entertainment industry during a YouTube interview, describing experiences while working with a high-profile actor.

On April 22, the YouTube channel ‘All About Jobs’ released a video featuring an individual identified as a former manager for a “10-million-ticket” actor. In the interview, the individual claimed that managers sometimes took responsibility for incidents involving celebrities.

The individual alleged that in cases such as driving under the influence, managers could claim responsibility in place of the celebrity and receive compensation. They also stated that they had previously collected prescription medication on behalf of a celebrity, although related materials were not disclosed in the video.

Additional claims included monitoring by agencies, such as reviewing dashcam footage and recording conversations inside vehicles. The individual said these measures were used to observe managers’ behavior and communications.

They also described situations in which managers waited outside venues during private gatherings involving celebrities and were later called to provide transportation.

The interview further mentioned pressure related to schedules, including instances of risky driving to avoid delays. The individual described a work environment where managers felt significant pressure from both companies and artists.

The claims have drawn attention for highlighting potential structural issues in the industry. However, as the statements are based on one individual’s account, further verification and responses from relevant parties would be needed.
