Rapper-producer MC Mong has vowed to personally address the swirling rumors and allegations around him, teasing a bombshell tell-all and breaking his silence.
On the 18th, MC Mong announced on his TikTok, "Through a live broadcast at 8 p.m. tonight, I will personally reveal what has happened so far and everything related to me." He added, "I will also disclose behind-the-scenes details from the media reporting process," signaling that the stream will go beyond simple clarification and into full-on exposé territory.
In particular, MC Mong directly named MBC’s current affairs program PD Note, claiming, "I will reveal who colluded with whom during the reporting," further fueling controversy. He also referenced a specific construction contractor, associated figures, individuals allegedly involved in illegal gambling, and even connected celebrities — hinting at the possibility of dropping a list of names and raising tensions.
His statement is seen as the latest chapter in a string of disputes. In 2023, MC Mong co-founded One Hundred with Cha Gawon, chairman of the Piaq Group, but left the company the following year. He was then swept up in talk of conflicts with Cha and rumors about his private life. At the time, MC Mong denied allegations of an affair and warned of strong legal action.
Meanwhile, the label has reportedly faced internal friction over settlement payments with its artists, along with lawsuits from some members. Added to this are past accusations involving foreign exchange regulations and complaints related to the Medical Service Act, compounding the controversies surrounding MC Mong. There have also been clarifications disputing recent reports about a high-priced building in Gangnam, with claims that those reports were inaccurate — further entangling the situation.
With MC Mong at the center of multiple controversies and now pledging to explain everything himself, attention is fixed on what exactly he will reveal during the live broadcast. However, some of his claims remain unverified, and the eventual fallout will likely hinge on concrete evidence and any further statements.
