After MBC’s current affairs program PD Note aired, The Boyz member Younghoon posted a cryptic message that quickly drew intense attention from fans.

On the 3rd, through a fan communication platform, Younghoon wrote, "I was watching TV today and something interesting came on. I’m glad more people got to know about it." He added, "I hope all the victims can get proper resolution."

Younghoon did not directly name any person or program. However, because his post went up right after the broadcast of MBC’s PD Note episode titled 'MC Mong and the Chairman’s K-Pop Trade Secrets,' some interpreted it as a remark aimed at that broadcast.

That day, PD Note addressed multiple allegations related to Onehundred. The program raised questions about the relationship between MC Mong and PIARC Group Chairman Cha Gawon, alleged private use of company funds, and issues surrounding jeonse (lump-sum lease) contracts involving some affiliated artists. Text messages hinting at a private relationship between the two were also revealed, further fueling controversy.

Younghoon’s comment drew even more attention because The Boyz and Onehundred are currently in a dispute over their exclusive contract. The Boyz had been active under Onehundred, but in February, except for New, members Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric notified the company of contract termination, citing unpaid settlements and a breakdown of trust. The members then filed for an injunction to suspend the effectiveness of the exclusive contract, and the court granted it. The Boyz claimed the agency failed to fulfill its obligations to pay settlements, provide settlement data, offer management support, and protect its artists.

Onehundred stated that while it respects the court’s decision, the injunction process moved so quickly that key evidence and rebuttals were not fully reviewed. The company also disputed the unpaid-settlement allegation, arguing that "at the time the exclusive contract was signed, the members had already received large signing bonuses and settlements."

Onehundred has also said it still supports and wants full-group activities for The Boyz. However, as the gap between the members and the agency remains, the dispute continues.
