Actor Jung Il-woo is swept up in rumors that he’s moving to Galaxy Corporation, the agency of BIGBANG leader G-Dragon.

On the 2nd, TV Daily reported that Jung Il-woo is negotiating an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation. Galaxy Corporation is an enter-tech company home to stars including G-Dragon, Taemin, Kim Jong-kook, Song Kang-ho, and Lee Jung-hoo.

According to the report, Galaxy Corporation highly values Jung’s profile and momentum across Asian markets such as Vietnam and Japan, and has proposed an exclusive deal. The reported signing bonus is said to be in the billions of won, drawing intense industry attention.

Jung Il-woo’s side struck a cautious tone. His current agency, J1 International Company, told multiple outlets: "Nothing has been decided yet."

Jung made his debut in 2006 with the MBC sitcom Unstoppable High Kick, which brought him into the public eye. This year, he greeted home viewers with the KBS2 drama Our Golden Days.

Jung is active not only in Korea but also overseas. Last year, the Korea–Vietnam co-produced film Leaving Mom became a major box office hit in Vietnam, boosting his popularity there. On the 17th, he is set to meet Japanese viewers through the Amazon Prime Video Original drama Offender.

Meanwhile, Galaxy Corporation is rapidly expanding its actor lineup. On the 1st, it signed an exclusive contract with Ryu Jun-yeol, and there have also been transfer rumors involving Yoo Ah-in.
