Kim Woo-seok, formerly of UP10TION and X1, has finished his military duty and is back with fans — a return that’s already making waves.
On May 3, Kim completed his service with the Republic of Korea Army band and was honorably discharged. He enlisted as an active-duty soldier in November 2024 and served diligently after being assigned to the military band.
Soon after his discharge, Kim posted several photos on Instagram with the caption "Discharge." Wearing his uniform and saluting, he personally delivered the news to fans. Comments poured in, including "We waited for you," "You worked so hard," and "Congratulations on your discharge."
With Kim wrapping up his service, his girlfriend Kang Na-eon also closes her "gomshin" era — Korean slang for a partner who waits while their significant other serves in the military. The two met through the web drama Social Savvy Class 101 and later began dating, confirming their relationship publicly in October 2024.
Born in 1996 and now 29, Kim rose to fame with UP10TION and the project group X1. In 2020, he expanded into acting, starting with the web drama Twenty-Twenty.
