On the 25th, agency CUBE Entertainment confirmed that NOWZ have kicked off preparations, aiming to return in August.
Last year, the group rebranded from NOWADAYS to NOWZ to set a fresh direction. Their first mini album 'Ignition' (IGNITION) then shattered their own records, surpassing 150,000 in first-week sales.
Most recently, with a pre-release single produced by their direct senior labelmate, (G)I-DLE's Yuqi — 'Fly Freely (Feat. Yuqi)' — they topped China’s QQ Music New Songs Daily Chart, tasting No. 1 on a major streaming ranking. All eyes are on the kind of new charm NOWZ will showcase with this comeback.
Meanwhile, at 7 p.m. KST on June 26, NOWZ will drop self-produced content via their official YouTube channel. In this variety-style series, the members will personally craft a logo song and take on episodes like a past-life experience, jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) games, a practice-room dance game, and a travel diary.
