Viral comeback alert: girl group RESCENE is set to heat up this summer with a remake of the throwback anthem 'Pretty Girl'.
On June 19, their agency The Muses Entertainment announced via official social channels that RESCENE will drop the remake single 'Pretty Girl' on July 8.
The digital cover image was revealed as well. The pink-toned artwork leans into a bold gyaru aesthetic, featuring the RESCENE logo alongside the title 'Pretty Girl'.
Originally the title track of KARA's second mini album released in 2008, 'Pretty Girl' is a charming bop that mixes adorable flair with confident attitude. Fans are buzzing to see how RESCENE will reimagine the classic with their signature breezy, lovable energy.
Earlier, member Woni sparked a meme on her personal YouTube channel with the catchphrase 'Geoje, yaho!', drawing attention through gyaru-inspired and dialect-driven content and quick-witted variety appeal. Riding that momentum, the group's first mini album 'SCENEDROME' title track 'LOVE ATTACK' surged to No. 5 on Melon's TOP100 daily chart—two years after its release.
RESCENE's remake single 'Pretty Girl' will be available on major music platforms starting at 6 p.m. KST on July 8.
