SHINee’s Key is officially returning to activities after six months.

On the 11th, SHINee posted a schedule film for their sixth mini album ‘Atmos’ on their official YouTube channel, confirming their comeback.

The video shows the members sharing key dates ahead of the comeback. Grabbing attention, Key transforms into a weathercaster to introduce the rollout. According to the clip, a mood sampler drops on the 27th, teaser images on the 28th, and a music video teaser on the 29th, all unveiled sequentially.

As soon as the video went live, reactions were mixed. Some comments read, "Is it really okay to come back already?" and "It’s true the response back then was disappointing." Others pushed back, saying, "Key wasn’t the perpetrator but a victim," and "No need to drag him that hard."

Key had been swept up in the so-called "injection aunt" scandal connected to Park Na-rae last December—referring to an unlicensed provider who administered injections, including house calls. SM Entertainment explained that through an acquaintance’s introduction, Key visited a hospital in Gangnam and believed the "injection aunt" was a licensed doctor, even receiving treatment at home. When the controversy exposed that she was not a doctor, Key stepped down from variety shows and halted activities.

Meanwhile, SHINee will release their sixth mini album ‘Atmos’ at 6 p.m. on June 1 via major music platforms.
