SBS Master of Living apologized for filming a bakery without permission.

Master of Living said on the 12th, "We acknowledge the mistake caused by the production team's overreach during the production process and offer our deepest apologies. The team will personally meet the parties involved to deliver a sincere apology," bowing their heads.

The issue began when the crew filmed the bakery without prior consent and still aired the footage. The bakery owner, referred to as A, blasted the show, saying, "The Master of Living broadcast is really trash," and claimed, "We never discussed any prior permission or consent with the production team." A added, "We're barely staying afloat, and for a small business that just wants to serve customers quietly, this felt like a betrayal and nothing but the show's abuse of power," sparking a heated reaction.

A further alleged that the team "shamelessly showed no sign of remorse and went ahead and aired it without permission," which enraged netizens even more. As the controversy intensified, SBS said, "The video has been deleted, and after a thorough review, we plan to re-edit and re-upload it."

Meanwhile, SBS Master of Living is a program that discovers and introduces masters in various fields and airs every Monday at 9 p.m.
