Actress Kim Go-eun shared the heartbreaking news that her beloved dog, Wol, has passed away, moving fans with a touching tribute on Instagram.

On May 12, Kim posted a photo of her dog with eyes gently closed, writing, "No more pain where you are."

She added, "I love you, Wol," and uploaded several photos capturing their first meeting and the simple, happy moments of everyday life together.

Fans responded, "May Wol be happy there" and "Hope they went to a better place," offering their condolences.

Kim adopted Wol in 2022 from an abandoned dog shelter. At the time, Wol was known to have a congenital brain condition that was difficult to treat.

Meanwhile, Kim Go-eun recently delivered a powerful performance as Yumi in Season 3 of the TVING original Yumi's Cells.
