Actor Ryu Jun-yeol is drawing attention after an anecdote surfaced about him casually mentioning his ex, Han So-hee.
Recently, Natsumi Kokawa, head of the Japanese film distributor L Films, shared on her social media that she met Ryu Jun-yeol at the Cannes Film Festival. Kokawa explained, "Ryu Jun-yeol appeared to be on site in the capacity of a film buyer," describing the scene at the time.
Kokawa said that when she revealed she had experience distributing Korean films, Ryu asked which titles they were. She continued, "Since it starred Han So-hee, I hesitated for a moment to say it," before mentioning the film heavy snow.
Ryu reportedly smiled and replied, "Since it’s a Han So-hee movie, of course I know it. It’s really fun."
The resurfaced buzz around the two names stems from their past relationship. In 2024, Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee were swept up in dating rumors after a reported sighting in Hawaii, later confirming their relationship—but breaking up roughly two weeks afterward. During that period, a social media post by Ryu’s former girlfriend Hyeri went viral, fueling an alleged "overlap dating" controversy.
Meanwhile, Ryu Jun-yeol is gearing up for the release of the Netflix series field mouse and Outback Steakhouse. Han So-hee has confirmed roles in the film The Intern and Netflix’s Solo Leveling.
