In a candid reveal, former Baby V.O.X member and actress Yoon Eun-hye opened up about marriage, dating, and the exact qualities she’s looking for.
On the June 29 episode of the SBS variety show uh, but like, seriously!, Baby V.O.X reunited on air with Kim E-Z, Lee Hee-jin, Shim Eun-jin, Kan Mi-youn, and Yoon Eun-hye all present. The members dug into topics like marriage and dating, laying their true feelings bare.
Explaining why she hasn’t dated for so long, Yoon confessed, "I haven’t dated for over 10 years." She added, "As I started living a more faith-centered life, I even quit drinking, and before I knew it, I hadn’t dated for 13 years."
When Lee Soo-ji asked, "Are you thinking about dating now?" Yoon replied, "I wasn’t before, but I am a little now." Fellow unmarried member Lee Hee-jin admitted, "My last relationship was in my early 30s," adding, "I had a few flings, but they naturally fizzled out."
The two also revealed they feel envious of their married bandmates. Kim E-Z has been married for 16 years, Kan Mi-youn for 7 years, and Shim Eun-jin for 5 years. When Lee Soo-ji asked, "Don’t you get jealous seeing them live so sweetly after getting married?" Lee Hee-jin said, "It drives me crazy. I’m jealous." She continued, "I once tagged along to a couples’ get-together, and I felt so self-conscious and lonely."
Asked about her ideal type, Yoon put faith at the top of the list. To the question, "Do you consider character, looks, religion, and charm?" she answered, "It’s important that his faith runs deep." When Lee Sang-min asked, "What if your husband pretends he can’t say no and goes to church but asks if he can skip tithing?" Yoon replied, "I’ll give my tithe—and I think I’d cover his, too." When Tak Jae-hoon asked, "What if he’s really great but Buddhist?" Yoon drew a firm line: "No. If he has no religion, that’s fine."
On looks, Yoon added, "I actually don’t care about appearance. I’d prefer someone fun, and he shouldn’t drink or smoke."
