Netflix’s never-dated romance reality Better Late Than Single is back for a second season—and it looks wilder than ever.
Premiering July 7, Better Late Than Single 2 is a makeover-style dating reality show that follows born-single contestants with zero dating history as they charge into their very first relationships. Expect big feelings and bigger reactions—the show’s signature mix of relatable awkwardness and facepalm-worthy choices is set to return in an even punchier way.
The newly released main poster spotlights the cast’s raw, first-ever encounters with love. Their faces—caught between butterflies, confusion, anticipation, and nerves—tease the roller coaster awaiting their debut romances.
The main trailer also brings back the 'Some-Makers' panel: Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji, and Car, the garden. They hoped for a leveled-up born-single lineup, but the cast’s unpredictable moves and clumsy confessions had them sighing, dishing out advice, and cracking up.
All eyes are on Kang Han-na’s transformation. Nicknamed "Mother Teresa" last season for her warm, empathetic reads of the cast, she appears on the verge of losing her cool in the new teaser—hinting that Season 2 will be far more dynamic and intense.
The never-dated contestants’ full-speed-ahead instincts are another must-watch. One participant declares, "I’m going to do whatever I want," teasing a fearless love bulldozer energy. Even the Some-Makers are stunned—raising expectations for the swoons and plot twists to come.
The producers doubled down on the revamped direction. PD Kim No-eun noted, "If male solos stood out more last season, this time the female solos are just as formidable. Please look forward to the fearless women in the cast."
Comparing Seasons 1 and 2, PD Won Seung-jae explained, "If the first season felt like an educational show—cheering on growth and laughing at awkward moments—only in Season 2 does it truly become a dating program." In other words, the focus shifts from simply watching the born-singles grow to diving headfirst into real romantic feelings and evolving relationships.
