Actor Jeon So-min shocked viewers with a candid life update, revealing on SBS variety show My Little Old Boy (aired May 17) that after exiting Running Man—where she was a fixed cast member for seven years—she took a part-time job at a cafe.

Appearing on My Little Old Boy, Jeon confessed, "I worked for a bit at a cafe run by a close friend," surprising fans with her unexpected post-Running Man routine.

Explaining why she chose cafe work, Jeon said, "I’d been working steadily, and suddenly stopping made me anxious," adding, "Since I didn’t know when my next income would come, I didn’t want to just sit still—I wanted to do something." She emphasized it wasn’t only about money: "I wanted to go out and do something productive," noting she also aimed to keep a healthy daily rhythm.

There was even a unique condition while she worked there. "I worked on the condition that I wouldn’t wear a hat or a mask," Jeon shared. "I handed drinks to customers at the counter myself and naturally helped promote the cafe," she added with a laugh.

Jeon also opened up about dating, confessing, "Even while doing a fixed variety show for seven years, I never once received a romantic approach."

Jeon So-min appeared on Running Man from 2017 to 2023.
