Giselle of the group aespa is at the center of a divisive outfit controversy.
On May 15, aespa performed their pre-release single 'WDA' (Whole Different Animal) on KBS 'Music Bank'.
In the broadcast, Giselle hit the stage in a printed jumpsuit layered under leather pants. Right after the show, online communities lit up with mixed reactions to her styling. Viewers claimed the shading on the jumpsuit combined with the top of the pants created a silhouette that seemed to emphasize a specific area.
Comments included, "Why is there shading right there?", "What on earth was the intention behind putting her in that?", and "That outfit is really inappropriate." Others pushed back, saying, "This level is fine," and "It probably looks okay in person."
Meanwhile, aespa will make their comeback on May 29 with their 2nd full album 'LEMONADE'. They kicked off the hype by dropping the pre-release track 'WDA' on May 11.
