U.S. streamer and influencer Trisha Paytas just announced her K-pop debut, instantly sparking viral buzz among fans at home and abroad.

Recently, Trisha Paytas dropped the song 'Saranghae (I Love You)' and declared her debut as a K-pop artist. The track runs just over two minutes, and most of the lyrics are in Korean, featuring lines like "Under the starlight of a dark night, I lie awake thinking of you," "I love you, I love you—saying it a thousand times still isn’t enough," "Unchanging love that won’t fade even as time passes," and "Even after the long, long night and through the tears, I’ll love you a thousand times."

The music video also turns heads, showcasing backdrops reminiscent of a bustling Korean cityscape and Namsan Tower, plus a Korean-style mukbang (eating broadcast). Trisha Paytas’s song and MV quickly went viral online, with many netizens reacting, "There’s more Korean than in most idol songs these days," "So genuine about Korea," and "I hope we can see her on music shows."

Trisha Paytas began her career in Los Angeles and launched a YouTube channel in 2007. She has since built recognition through various TV appearances and online activities, balancing music releases with content creation.
