The 'Global Casting Project (GCP) Vol.3', a program turning overseas idol hopefuls’ dreams into reality, is racing toward its dream stage.
The global K-pop training platform K-LAB announced that today (the 28th) it officially kicked off filming for the polished performance videos of each team’s camp tracks — the result of weeks of sweat and hard work.
The biggest investment and key differentiator of this shoot is the production lineup. K-LAB has brought in veteran music video directors and professional crews who have led countless K-pop music videos and performance films at Korea’s top entertainment companies. Thanks to this, participants will walk away not with a simple camp keepsake, but with a pro-artist-level video portfolio.
A K-LAB representative said, "GCP has gone viral as a 'dream camp' among global hopefuls not only because of audition opportunities, but because we provide a lifetime-worthy, top-quality visual portfolio through Korea’s best-in-class infrastructure. The performance videos we’re shooting will become the most powerful proof of participants’ star potential for major domestic agencies moving forward."
K-LAB’s edge doesn’t stop there. On the 26th, they completed the official recording for the stage song to be performed at the main showcase. The session drew attention for its tight, zero-waste curriculum. While teams waited outside the studio, an additional group of expert trainers delivered simultaneous, high-density 1:1 customized vocal and dance lessons — a premium care system designed so not a single participant is left behind, pushing each person’s signature skills and details to the limit right up to the final stage.
The representative added, "While most experience-based camps focus on group dance covers, GCP targets professional output — discovering each participant’s unique vocal character and building it into recorded data. Through this directing session, which designs even the sound of a single breath, participants will level up from simple aspirants to true 'on-stage artists'."
Having wrapped studio recording and final stage preparations, GCP Vol.3 participants will face their final evaluation at the 'Unified Audition' on the 30th, with a large turnout of rookie development executives from major domestic agencies set to attend.
