Actor In-guk Seo is returning to the small screen as a frigid, rule-obsessed boss.
On the 29th, tvN's new Monday–Tuesday drama See You at Work Tomorrow! unveiled still cuts of In-guk Seo as the prickly supervisor Kang Si-woo.
The series is a warm-and-fuzzy office romance that follows seventh-year employee Cha Ji-yoon (played by Ji-hyun Park), stuck in a daily slump, and her untouchable boss Kang Si-woo (In-guk Seo) as they slowly seep into each other's lives and rediscover their lost spark.
In the story, Kang Si-woo is the so-called "3 NO" man: he doesn't smile (No Smile), keeps people at arm's length (No People), and rarely apologizes (No Sorry). Armed with rigorous self-discipline and a chill so sharp it seems not a single drop of blood would come out if you poked him, he's the office's human ice block—nearly impossible to approach.
Having earned the title "romance master" through a string of hits including Reply 1997, High School King of Savvy, Shopping King Louie, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, Doom at Your Service, and Boyfriend on Demand, In-guk Seo now showcases deeper eyes and finely controlled emotions. Watching how the seemingly indifferent Kang Si-woo slowly changes after meeting Cha Ji-yoon will be the drama's key draw.
Meanwhile, See You at Work Tomorrow!—already raising expectations for the fresh chemistry between In-guk Seo and Ji-hyun Park—premieres June 22 at 8:50 p.m. Viewers in Korea can watch via TVING and wavve, while international audiences can tune in on Amazon Prime Video.
